Arc Architects had four decades of projects and a website that showed twelve. We built them a system that could hold all of it.
The idea
The archive is the product. Every project is tagged by typology, material, scale and year, and the site is a set of views onto that index: a timeline, a map, a materials library. The chrome stays as quiet as the practice's buildings.
What we did
Information architecture, interface design, a headless CMS with structured project data, front-end build and a migration of 312 projects with their drawings.
Outcome
Time on site doubled and the practice now uses the same index internally for bids.
